Andrew J I Jones was Professor of the Logic and Theory of Normative Systems at the Dept of Informatics, King’s College London, from 2001 until his retirement in 2013. He is currently a visiting researcher at Imperial College London. From 1986 to 2001 he was a professor in the Dept of Philosophy, University of Oslo, Norway. He has been a Fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters since 1999. He was one of the founding executive editors of the Journal of Applied Logic, and is a member of the editorial board of Artificial Intelligence and Law. He has for many years been involved in programme committees in the areas of Deontic Logic, AI and Law, Communicative Interaction, Trust and Deception.
